A qualified Level 2 Teacher Campbell has always been keen on the sport. All his three children have swam and competed at the sport and all the family continued to develop a passion for the sport. Over the years they have either competed or taught at various clubs within the County. He has a real passion about technique and the development of the swim strokes where he feels he can contribute to developing swimmers to their full potential.
Jo is a qualified Level 2 Teacher and has been with the club since it started in 2011. She has taught for many years swimmers at all levels of their development, If she is teaching non swim through to Confident swimmers Jo is an expert in progressing and developing their technique. She has become a great asset to the club in helping swimmers develop their skills to their full potential..
Having been qualified as a Club Coach for over 7 years, Carolyn was a Club swimmer from a young age. With vast experience of successfully teaching young children the fundamentals of swimming, she ran her own Freestyle swim school for a number of years and was Head Coach at Kettering Swimming Club. This enabled Carolyn to gain a wealth of experience teaching and coaching swimmers of all ages. Both Stephen and Carolyn coach swimming sessions at PACTRAC (a local Triathlon Club) and enjoy the challenge of coaching a wide mix of ages and swimming abilities involved with Nene Valley’s co-operation with PACTRAC.
Simon is a qualified Level 2 Teacher and also competes for NVSC on a regular basis. He has been with the club since we started in 2011. Simon had a break whilst he was studying at University where he successfully completed a Sports Science degree. Now a qualified Teacher he enjoys the whole aspect of teaching children whether it is in his working environment or helping at the Boys Brigade working with the children. He can then put his skills and knowledge to coaching and developing the swimmers at NVSC.
The Head Coach at NVSC with over 10 years qualified as a Club Coach, coaching all levels of swimmers from non- competitive to international swimmers. Lives in Thrapston (for over 25 years) and identified the need for a local Swim Club for Thrapston. He has two children Charlotte and Kimberley who joined a local swimming club at a young age. They became deeply involved in the sport competing at all levels from club galas through to Counties District and National competition. Charlotte went on to become National Youth Champion in the 200m Butterfly and represented Great Britain at the European Junior Championships. Kimberley Became National Open Water Youth Champion before changing to Triathlon where she represented Great Britain in the 20-24 age group.
